25-26 Algebra 1 Class Field Trip to iFly Orlando

Mrs. Clavijo's Algebra 1 students are invited to attend a field trip to iFly in Orlando. We have a tour bus will leaving campus on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. and return to RLCA by 2:00 p.m. Students should bring their own sack lunch. Parents will pick up students in regular carline at 3:00 p.m. The cost is $75 per student for tickets and transportation.  

Deadline to pay for this field trip will be September 26, 2025. 

(A 3% processing fee will be added. No refunds will be issued.)

Educational Application: During in-person field trips, students will learn how to predict their own terminal velocity using measurements and algebraic reasoning. They’ll have a chance to fly in the wind tunnel and compare their predictions to their actual terminal velocity before brainstorming reasons for any errors.
